Mission Family Music Night
We held our Annual Mission Family Music Night on April 17th, with this year's theme "Many Voices, One Community" which spotlights Mission's focus on unity, diversity and equity. It was a fabulous night to see our students perform songs learned during Music class. Families participated in crafts, virtual reality expeditions, a Cake Walk, a carnival bean bag toss game, do karaoke and show their dance moves!
Our wonderful Extended Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) club performances dazzled us with Folkclorico and Dance and Cheer! Our after school Beyond the Walls Program showcased our students' talent with a powerful Dragon Dance and a cool Martial Arts performance. Our families really delighted in an Aztec Dance performance. We closed out the night having both our Honor Choir perform under the direction of our Music Teacher, Ms. Smith, and the String and Band groups perform under the direction of Ms. Dominguez.
